Peter is one of the Labour & Co-operative Councillors representing Townfield ward in the London Borough of Hillingdon, where he is the Leader of the opposition.

Peter is also a Trustee of  The Fassnidge Memorial Trust and a Trustee & Company Director of HART (a local HIV charity).

As well as his considerable commitments locally, he is also actively involved at a national level and sits on the Values and Principles board of the Co-operative Council’s Innovation Network.
